Mahasthavir Bhante Urgyen Sangharakshita's 93rd Birth Anniversary Celebration at Ahmedabad

On 26 August, 2017 Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha Punyakshetra Chapter organised a programme on the auspices of Bhante Urgyen Sangharakshita's 93rd Birth Anniversary at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 

The environment became very pious with the chants and Metta Bhavna meditation added to the beauty of spiritual environment of whole place. 

At evening 6:00 o clock the program started with the offerings, Dhammachari Anand Shakya talked about Bhante and the importance and contribution of Bhante in the Sangha and for the whole new Buddhist Movement as dreamed by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Everyone present prayed for a healthy and long life of Bhante by doing Metta Bhavna Meditation which was lead by Dhammachari Mitrasen.

Dhammacharini Yashonanada and Dhammacharini Anomsuri lead the Buddha Vandana and Sutra recitations.

It was very special to hear about the past, the visits by Bhante in Gujarat and India from Dhammachari Ratnakar who himself is one among the senior most order members of India and got his ordination from Bhante at Gandhinagar and is still alive.

At the end according to Buddhist traditions everyone had Prasad of Kheer and very enthusiastically enjoyed the whole event.

સાથે મળીને તા: 9-7-2017 ના રોજ કચ્છના આદિપુર ખાતે કરુણાવિહારમાં બૌદ્ધ પરિવારોએ ધમ્મચક્ર પ્રવર્તન દિન ની ભવ્ય ઉજવણી કરી.

ધમ્મચક્ર પ્રવર્તન દિન નિમિત્તે એક દિવસિય ધમ્મ શિબિર નું આયોજન થયુ હતુ. 

ધમ્મ શિબિરમાં ધમ્મચારી રત્નાકર, ધમ્મચારી આનંદ શાક્ય, ધમ્મચારી મિત્રસેન, ધમ્મચારીણી યશોનંદા અને ધમ્મચારીણી અનોમસુરીએ માર્ગદર્શન પૂરુ પાડ્યું હતુ.

ધમ્મચારી રત્નાકર દ્વારા “ધમ્મચક્ક પ્રબતન્ન સુત્ત” નો અભ્યાસ કરાવ્યો હતો. 

ધમ્મચારી આનંદ શાક્ય દ્વારા આનાપાનસતિ અને મેત્તા ભાવના ધ્યાન સાધના શીખવ્યા હતાં.

અમદાવાદ, નડીયાદ, સુરેંદ્રનગર, ગાંધીધામ, આદીપુર, ભુજ તેમજ કચ્છ નાં અન્ય તાલુકાઓ માથી  ધમ્મ બંધુઓ અને ભગીનીઓ એ ધમ્મ શિબિર નો લાભ મેળવ્યો હતો.

સૌએ સાથે મળીને મૈત્રીભોજન કર્યુ હતુ.

સાંજના સમયે ભવ્ય ધાર્મિક કાર્યક્રમ નું આયોજન થયું. કાર્યક્રમ મા બુદ્ધ વંદના, ધમ્મ દેશના અને સુંત્રપઠન કરવામા આવ્યાં હતાં જેમા કચ્છના લોકોએ સાથે મળીને ભાગ લીધો અને સાથે મૈત્રી ભોજન કર્યું.

Buddha Purnima Celebration at Ahmedabad

More than 400 people from Gujarat embraced Buddhism at Nagaloka on 60th Dhammakranti Day.

Place: Nagaloka (Nagpur) - MAHARASHTRA

On 11^th of October, 2016 at Nagaloka (Nagpur) more than 400 people from Gujarat embraced  Buddhism under the hands of Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha. Dhammachari Anand Shakya and Dhammacharini Anomsuri lead and promoted the diksharthis from Gujarat. Manjula ben Pradip and her colleagues from Navsarjan Gujarat joined the mass conversion movement and embraced Buddhism on Dhammakranti day in the home grounds where Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar embraced Buddhism 60 years before. 

The ceremony was lead by order members of Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha;. Dhammachari Suvirya,  Dhammachari Anand Shakya and Dhammachari Vivekratna. International order members Dhammachari Subhuti, Dhammachari Lokmitra, Dhammacharini Parami and Mr. Yo (from taiwan), Prof. Tharod  other venerable Buddhist guests from all over world was present at ceremony. Alongwith people from Gujarat, people from Odissa, Rajasthan, Chattisgadh and Maharashtra also embraced Buddhism.

The wheel of Sanghahood is moving ahead in India as sown by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha congratulate all newly embraced Budhhists, welcome to the maha sangha and enjoy the spiritual rebirth.
