More than 400 people from Gujarat embraced Buddhism at Nagaloka on 60th Dhammakranti Day.

Place: Nagaloka (Nagpur) - MAHARASHTRA

On 11th of October, 2016 at Nagaloka (Nagpur) more than 400 people from Gujarat embraced  Buddhism under the hands of Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha. Dhammachari Anand Shakya and Dhammacharini Anomsuri lead and promoted the diksharthis from Gujarat. Manjula ben Pradip and her colleagues from Navsarjan Gujarat joined the mass conversion movement and embraced Buddhism on Dhammakranti day in the home grounds where Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar embraced Buddhism 60 years before. 


The ceremony was lead by order members of Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha;. Dhammachari Suvirya,  Dhammachari Anand Shakya and Dhammachari Vivekratna. International order members Dhammachari Subhuti, Dhammachari Lokmitra, Dhammacharini Parami and Mr. Yo (from taiwan), Prof. Tharod  other venerable Buddhist guests from all over world was present at ceremony. Alongwith people from Gujarat, people from Odissa, Rajasthan, Chattisgadh and Maharashtra also embraced Buddhism.


The wheel of Sanghahood is moving ahead in India as sown by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha congratulate all newly embraced Budhhists, welcome to the maha sangha and enjoy the spiritual rebirth.
